Supercharged EK doing the do...

It's amazing how many FB friends we have but never really get to talk to the in person. I never really remember talking to Brandon at the local meets but when Slammedenuff hit me up to do a feature on his car, I went to FB to see his ride prior to the shoot. Sure enough we was already friends on there and after thinking back, I remember seeing some of Brandon's post. So I checked out his photo album and saw his clean civic coupe. He told me a little bit about the car so I was anxious to see it in person.

When I asked Brandon about his first car that he own he told he had owned a cutlas supreme but didn't get to drive it cause he wasn't old enough at the time. Pretty cool considering most ppl don't get a car till they get their licenses. As with most ppl, his first car to tinker with was a Honda. What better platform to start off with because parts are plentiful and easy to find. The engine is simple and strait forward to work with once you get into it. So here we are today, Brandon now owns a 99 Civic EX coupe. No big body kits nor sticker bombed lip here. Just a clean coupe sitting on 16x7.5 Konig remembers wrapped around 205/40 neogens, dropped on function and form type 1 coils. The car is powered by a b20b short block that has a brand new oem rebuild that is matted to a b16a2 head that has been ported and polished and to give it that lil extra boost in power a Vortech v-5g supercharger with a 10lbs pulley was added. For the transmission Brandon chose to go with an ITR one. As far as exhaust mods, a DC sport 4-2-1 header is merged into a 2 3/4 strait pipe to help with exhaust flow. While looking through the windshield he chose to sit in a Bride Digo Black Gradation Black Reclineable seats.

He has big plans for the car that includes a built b20b or ls block with 9:1 compression wiseco pistons and a few other goodies. For now you will see him with one hand on the personal steering wheel and the other hand on a custom 495 gram deft motion shift knob so be on the look out for this clean supercharged civic coupe.

Just like everything else we all need family and friends to support us and Brandon would like to give a shot out to his family friends cousin billy, mike, daniel weaver, t-rav aaron moss, cam moheng and zak kiefer and everyone thats has ever supported him. Johnny K ... my introduction

I'm proud to say that this is my first post for Slammedenuff and not afraid to say that at first I wasn't really sure what to write. Well I think it's always worth to have a proper introduction. For those that don't know me, most people call me Johnny or Johnny K. I've always been into the cars and recently picked up this other expensive hobby which is known as Photography. See as car guy, I'm always on the forum reading about people builds and checking out blogs for features and always amazed by the pictures that I see. Being the creative guy that I am, I figured I could create my own pictures. So off I went researching what camera to get for my needs and ended up with Canon and currently shooting with the Canon 60d.

Now that you know a little bit about me, I wanted you to know that I will be working with Charlan on doing features for Slammedenuff and will be providing coverage for Nashville,TN and the surrounding area. The first feature will be on Brandon's super clean EK from Mt. Juliet. The plan is to meet up with Brandon today around 4:00 to take some pics of his ride and to talk to his build. So stay tuned… pics and details about the car will be up soon.

In the mean time, here is a pic of Johnny and Johnny K....

David Pickett's BMW e36 M3

Daily driven on air is a definite VIP trend these days. With the ability to slam your ride to the fullest and still be able to drive your car at a reasonable height, this setup is a win in our eyes. David chose to go with fully adjustable dampening and height adjustable Ksport Airbags. To go along with his setup he chose 2’ 480 Viair Compressors and 2’ Ksport 5 Gallon Tanks. David’s m3 is sitting on 19x8.5 +28 front and 19x10 +40 rear VMR VB3’s with pulled fenders done by Mr. Pickett himself. Just another way in today’s lifestyle of staying slammed. Stay tuned for David’s static dropped s2k which will be featured soon.

Peep this Fuzion

Photobucket

Pictures and Video by Charlan Buenaventura and Tim Acang

A rare commodity to this scene, Andre (Peepay) put some work into his 2010 Ford Fuzion. 06-08 Mazda 6 Tein S-tech springs, 95 Cobra Wheels +30 offset with 5mm spacers all around. This fuzion is given a look that I can say grabbed our attention for sure! I asked Peepay "why a fusion?" He replied "because of gas mileage" With high gas prices these days 28 mpg sounds good to anyone's wallet.
