Crisp and Flossy 2K12

Nearly 800 people, 400 cars, and over 100 degrees, SlammedEnuff's first annual Crisp and Flossy meet was just that. The cars were clean and flossy and those who attended battled the heat, hoping that by the end of the day, they wouldn't be crispy too. To give the atmosphere a little extra chill, DJ Supra Sam kept the jams bumping.

As I walked around the show, I saw many cars that were familiar to me, and even more that I hadn't seen around Memphis. Our own, Johnny K, helped organize a cruise down from Nashville with nearly 20 cars in it. Some people even made the trek from Kentucky, traveling 4 or 5 hours! The time and dedication that everyone put in to make it to the meet is encouraging, but for most, it's only a fraction of the time that they've spent perfecting or getting their car the way that they want it.

It's good to see that no matter if we drive Domestics, Euros, or Imports, we can all come together in mutual appreciation of the one thing we love. Having a community like the SlammedEnuff community is priceless when you're an automotive enthusiast, and that's exactly what these meets are for; building a community of like-minded people where we can bounce ideas off of each other, help each other out whenever needed, and when it's all said and done, sit back and enjoy seeing how everyone's car has come together.
